Interactive OZ - March 15th 4pm

We've all seen the movie before. We watched it intently when we were kids and now we find ourselves watching it again as parents or grandparents. Regardless, "The Wizard of Oz," is a timeless family classic that transcends generations. To help showcase its new building and audio-visual capabilities the Lofte has scheduled a special screening of the digitally remastered film.

Don't expect the same old boring movie experience. Rest assured that Lofte volunteers are working hard to add several "surprises" to the film to make sure that this is an exciting and interactive experience for all! We encourage everyone to dress up as their favorite character, dance and even sing-a-long with the movie!

Doors to the theater open at 3pm. Admission is "free will donation" with a suggested price of $10 per family. Be sure to come early because the children will be able to play games and win prizes right on stage! Showtime for the movie is at 4pm. A goodie bag of props and toys will be available for a small fee to help the kids interact with the movie even more.

Concessions will be available before the show and at intermission. (Yes, we're adding a break in the middle of the movie for those little ones who might need to stretch their legs or visit the restroom!) Reservations are not required for this event and for safety reasons we do request that all children under the age of 14 be accompanied by an adult. Bring your courage, your brain and your heart. Bring Mom and Dad; Grandma and Grandpa. Just don't bring any of those flying monkeys. I hate those things! And remember, when it comes to fun family experiences, "There's no place like The Lofte!"
