MGM's 1939 film, "The Wizard of Oz" has been digitally remastered and can be found at the Lofte! But, be prepared. This isn't your oridnary movie experience. Lofte volunteers are working very hard and are adding "surprises" during the screening to help keep the kids (and adults) on their toes. The film begins at 4pm, but doors open at 3pm. Come early and let the children play carnival-type games on stage. Dress up as your favorite character! Sing-a-long with the music! "Boo" at the Wicked Witch! This is sure to be a fun and memorable event for the whole family!

The Blackwood Brothers

A name synonymous with Gospel Music! The original Blackwood Brothers formed in Choctaw County, Mississippi.
Elvis Presley loved Gospel music and attended many of the Blackwood Brothers Gospel conventions in Memphis.
The Blackwoods have recorded over 200 albums and toured 47 countries! Now here for Lofte audiences to enjoy!

Returning to the Lofte in 2008! Debbie Horton, Donnie Wright and Brian Capps bring their special blend of Country, Gospel and down-home humor to Nebraska. This event was so popular last year, we’ve added a Sunday matinee (May 4) to the schedule.

Missoula Children's Theater
Robin Hood
Rehearsal Dates, June 16-20.
Performances on Saturday, June 21 at 3pm and 7pm. 
The time is long ago and the place is the magical, mythical Sherwood Forest. Our hero, Robin Hood, and his Merry Band of colorful characters seek the help of the Foresters, manage to waylay the Aristocrats and set out to rescue Maid Marion and Marion's Maid.  Prince John tries to stay calm as his Sheriff, guards and horsemen botch Robin's arrest (thanks to the Skunks). Wacky humor and an original score make this legendary story even more fun for everyone!

For the third year running the Lofte is proud to host the touring directors from Missoula, Montana! This community outreach helps the youth experience the joy and excitement of live theater at no cost to them or their parents. The children make new friends, learn responsibility and gain a greater sense of self-confidence through this wonderful program. Auditions will be held from 10am-12pm on Monday, June 16th.  If your child is cast, rehearsals will start at approximately 12:30pm on that same day.  A detailed rehearsal schedule will be available after auditions, but please make sure the student has a clear schedule for the entire week and can make every rehearsal and performance.
